Printing Guidelines

• Preferred: PNG or JPG (flattened, no layers).
• Also accepted: PDF (single page). Vector files (AI/SVG) can be exported to PDF/PNG.

• Provide artwork at 300 dpi at the final print size for best results.
• Avoid screenshots or tiny images scaled up. If in doubt, send the largest original you have.
• Very small text (under ~8 pt) or ultra-thin lines may not reproduce cleanly on edible media.

• We can also print up to a large edible sheet size suitable for most cakes.
• Tip If you know your cake top size (e.g., 8" round, 1/4 sheet), tell us the exact print dimensions you’d like.

• Flat or gently curved, smooth surfaces work best (spun-smoothed frozen yogurt, fondant, buttercream crusted smooth, icing sheets).
• Very wet, oily, or heavily textured surfaces can interfere with image adhesion and reduce print sharpness. For this reason, FroCakes™ does not apply printing to such surfaces—even by special request—as doing so could also damage the printer head.

• We print with food-safe CMYK inks — slight color shifts versus your screen (RGB) are normal.
• Neon, metallic, and very dark colors have limitations in edible inks.

FroCakes reserves the right to refuse printing of any content we determine, in our sole discretion, to be offensive, unlawful, or harmful. Examples include, but are not limited to:

• Hate Speech & Discrimination — content that promotes racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, or discrimination against any group or individual.
• Violence & Gore — depictions of graphic violence, extreme gore, or encouragement of physical harm.
• Illegal Activity — content that promotes or depicts illegal conduct (e.g., drug use or criminal acts).
• Non-Consensual Material — explicit imagery involving individuals without clear legal rights or consent for reproduction.
• Harassment or Defamation — content targeting an individual or business with threats, harassment, or defamatory claims.
• Obscenity Beyond Reasonable Adult-Party Use — excessively graphic or obscene imagery beyond typical bachelor/bachelorette themes.

• Email: Send your file with your order reference to our .
• In-Person: Bring a thumb drive when you place your order at the shop; we’ll review it together, or if your order was made another way, you may drop off the thumb drive at your convenience.

Accepted formats for upload/drop-off: PNG, JPG, PDF. Please keep individual files under ~25 MB; larger files can be shared via a drive link.
